WhatsApp, the instant messaging app owned by Meta, has addressed a security vulnerability that, in tandem with a flaw in Apple's operating system, could have been weaponized by hackers to execute sophisticated attacks on select Apple device users and pilfer sensitive information. According to WhatsApp, fewer than 200 individuals were specifically targeted.
