Between July 1st and 20th, the Chinese retail market witnessed the sale of 978,000 passenger vehicles, marking an 11% increase year-on-year but a 12% decline compared to the previous month. Notably, 537,000 of these vehicles were new energy passenger cars, showing a robust 23% annual growth despite a 12% monthly decrease. This translates to a market penetration rate of 54.9% for new energy vehicles.
