The BMW M2 CS has cemented its place as the fastest compact car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, achieving a record-breaking lap time of 7 minutes, 25 seconds, and 534 milliseconds. This astonishing feat surpasses the previous record of 7 minutes, 33.123 seconds, set by the Audi RS 3 in June 2024. The M2 CS is powered by an S58 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, boasting a whopping 530 horsepower.
