On July 3, Haitong International issued a comprehensive report on China's automotive sector, highlighting the June sales figures announced by several mainland automakers. Amidst efforts to meet their half-year sales targets, mainstream automakers have embarked on promotional campaigns aimed at securing market share. The report anticipates that with heightened regulatory scrutiny anticipated in the second half of the year, price wars may gradually wane, and the focus of competition will shift towards enhancing services, striking a balance between quality and pricing, and advancing technological innovations.

In particular, Xiaomi reported sales of over 25,000 vehicles in June, marking a slight decline of approximately 3,000 units compared to the preceding month. However, the launch of its new model, the YU7, on June 26, garnered an impressive response, with orders exceeding 240,000 units within just 18 hours. Currently, the primary challenge for Xiaomi lies in fulfilling these orders, with the second phase of factory production capacity expansion playing a pivotal role. Haitong International optimistically projects that by the end of the year, monthly deliveries of the YU7 could surpass the 40,000-unit mark.
