The four prominent automobile industry associations in the Yangtze River Delta have collectively appealed to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to address the pressing difficulties faced by dealers. The associations highlight the issues dealers are confronting, including inventory accumulation, disorganized market competition, and strained capital flows. Some OEMs have been accused of pressuring dealers to sell at unreasonably low prices, which raises concerns about potential illegality. To address these challenges, the associations propose establishing a tripartite cooperation framework involving the government, industry, and manufacturers. This framework aims to foster a sustainable mechanism for risk and benefit sharing, ultimately enhancing the competitiveness and fostering high-quality development within the Yangtze River Delta's automotive market.
