On June 27, Li Auto (02015.HK) unveiled a significant organizational restructuring and personnel appointments. The company has merged its former 'R&D and Supply Group' with the 'Sales and Service Group' to form a new entity named the 'Intelligent Automobile Group'. This new group will oversee the strategic to operational closed loop of the intelligent automobile business. President Ma Donghui has been appointed to lead this group, reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Li Xiang. Li Xiang will maintain his responsibilities for product lines, brands, strategies, and other key automotive business teams, while also committing to increased investments in the AI sector.
