By 2024, the European automotive manufacturing industry had deployed a total of 23,000 newly installed industrial robots, surpassing the 19,200 robots in North America. This achievement underscores Europe's global leadership in automotive manufacturing automation. The European automotive sector stands as a pivotal area for robot application, accounting for roughly one-third of the entire installed robotic capacity within the local manufacturing industry. Notably, six nations, including Switzerland, Slovenia, and notably Germany, rank among the top ten in terms of robot density within the global automotive industry. Statistics reveal that between 2019 and 2024, the compound annual growth rate for industrial robot installations in Europe reached 3%. The International Federation of Robotics anticipates releasing the latest statistical data at the Automatica trade fair in Munich, scheduled for June 2025.
