The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with two other ministries and commissions, convened a working conference focused on the safety management of new energy vehicles. The meeting underscored the need for enterprises to assume primary responsibility for quality and safety, mitigate risks, refrain from misleading propaganda, and avoid cost-cutting measures that compromise quality. The collaborating ministries and commissions pledged to enhance coordination, facilitate information sharing, intensify investigations into potential safety hazards, strengthen supervision of production consistency, and optimize the efficiency of the safety monitoring platform. These measures aim to uphold industrial order and foster the high-quality development of the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry. Representatives from relevant entities attended the meeting.
