Tesla has recently initiated legal action against its former engineer, Jay Li, accusing him of stealing pivotal technological secrets from the Optimus humanoid robot project and subsequently founding a competing startup, Proception, leveraging these stolen secrets. During his tenure at Tesla, Li was integral to the development of advanced robot hand sensors and was entrusted with safeguarding sensitive technical data. According to the lawsuit, in the weeks preceding his resignation, Li allegedly downloaded pertinent files to his personal phone. Shortly after departing Tesla, he swiftly established Proception and, within just five months, claimed to have successfully manufactured a humanoid robot hand remarkably similar to Tesla's design.
