The plan outlines Guangzhou's commitment to piloting V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) peak-shaving electricity pricing and allocating 20 million yuan annually over the next three years to spearhead vehicle-grid interaction infrastructure. This incentive encourages new energy vehicles to contribute excess power back to the grid, with a generous reward of up to 5 yuan per kWh. The objective is to alleviate peak-hour power supply strain.
