On May 26, Foton Motor unveiled its intention to collaborate with EVE Energy Co., Ltd. by jointly investing RMB 500 million to establish Beijing Foton EVE New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. This strategic move aims to expand Foton Motor's footprint in the new energy heavy-duty truck sector and offer a diverse array of battery leasing solutions. Foton Motor will contribute RMB 250 million, securing a 50% stake in the venture, with the funds sourced entirely from the company's internal capital. The joint venture seeks to jointly tap into market opportunities, cater to the diverse battery leasing requirements of customers, bolster the market competitiveness of Foton Motor's new energy heavy-duty truck lineup, drive new vehicle sales, and enhance profit margins.
