Toyota has unveiled the sixth-generation RAV4, leveraging the TNGA-K platform. This new iteration bids adieu to the pure gasoline model, embracing solely hybrid and plug-in hybrid configurations. The exterior of the RAV4 showcases a rejuvenated design, while the interior boasts a significant technological upgrade, featuring a standard 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster across all trim levels. Furthermore, it integrates Toyota's exclusive Arene software platform and the advanced Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 system. In terms of performance, HEV models offer an output spanning from 226 to 236 horsepower, while PHEV models deliver an impressive 320 horsepower. The PHEV variant also witnesses an enhancement in its pure electric range, extending to 80 kilometers, and supports rapid charging capabilities. Additionally, the new RAV4 features a refined chassis for superior towing capacity, with the GR Sport model receiving meticulous tuning by the Gazoo Racing division. It is anticipated that the sixth-generation RAV4 will arrive in the U.S. market by the end of 2025 and will subsequently be introduced to over 180 countries and regions worldwide.
