According to a recent report by TrendForce, the global sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs), encompassing battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, totaled 4.02 million units in the first quarter of 2025. This represents a significant year-on-year increase of 39% and accounts for 18.4% of total global automobile sales.
