TrendForce statistics reveal that in the first quarter of 2025, global sales of new energy vehicles, encompassing battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, totaled 4.02 million units. This figure represents a robust year-on-year increase of 39%. During this quarter, new energy vehicles accounted for 18.4% of total global automobile sales.
