On May 16, Changan Auto hosted a ceremonial event in Thailand to mark the commencement of production at its Rayong Plant, coinciding with the milestone achievement of producing the 28.59 millionth vehicle globally. The Rayong Plant boasts an annual production capacity of 100,000 vehicles, with ambitions to scale up to 200,000 units in the future. The total investment in the facility stands at approximately 10 billion Thai baht. Moving forward, this plant will manufacture models from various brands under the Changan umbrella, including Changan, Deep Blue, and Avita.
