Due to the uncertainties arising from US tariffs in its most lucrative North American market, the commercial vehicle manufacturer Daimler Trucks has revised its annual outlook downward. Karin Rådström, the Group CEO, anticipates a decline in truck sales in North America, which is expected to translate into a decrease in overall revenue and profit margins. As a result, Daimler Trucks now projects selling between 155,000 and 175,000 trucks in North America this year, a notable reduction from the previous forecast of 180,000 to 200,000 units. Furthermore, the company foresees a general slowdown in the US heavy-duty freight highway market.
