In March, the total import and export volume of automotive products surged to $23.82 billion, marking a 32.1% increase month-on-month, despite a slight 0.2% decline year-on-year. Exports shone brightly, totaling $20.15 billion, up 38.9% from the previous month and 8.4% compared to the same period last year. Imports, on the other hand, amounted to $3.67 billion, showing a more modest 3.8% monthly gain but a notable 30.4% year-on-year decrease. Overall, for the first quarter, the cumulative total import and export volume of automotive products stood at $65.14 billion, down 4.6% from the previous year. Among this, cumulative exports amounted to $55 billion, up 4.6% year-on-year, while cumulative imports totaled $10.14 billion, experiencing a 35.6% year-on-year decline.
