On April 12, NIO Power and Yunnan Provincial Communications Investment Group New Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd. inked a strategic collaboration agreement in Kunming. The agreement outlines an ambitious plan for deep cooperation in several key areas, including the development of new energy vehicle battery swapping infrastructure, the implementation of smart energy management systems, and the integration of virtual power plants. Together, the partners aim to construct an all-encompassing "photovoltaic-energy storage-charging-swapping" energy station. Currently, NIO Power boasts 38 battery swapping stations and over 150 charging piles across Yunnan, and this partnership is poised to expedite the expansion of new energy vehicle charging infrastructure within the province's highway service areas. Nationally, NIO Power has established a robust network of 3,253 battery swapping stations, forming a high-speed swapping network connecting major cities throughout China.
