A Zhengzhou, Henan-based owner of an XPeng G6 encountered a sudden power system failure while driving on an elevated road, resulting in a drastic drop in speed and loss of control. The vehicle's 4S shop diagnosed the issue as a burned-out wiring harness. Frustrated by the multiple repairs and the subsequent loss of trust in the car's safety, the owner requested a refund or a replacement vehicle, but was only offered 1,000 points in compensation and received no further action. Other XPeng G6 owners have also come forward with similar complaints, prompting XPeng to acknowledge these as isolated incidents, yet unable to guarantee that the problem won't recur post-repair.
