On March 22, a team led by Academician Sun Fengchun and Professor He Hongwen from the School of Mechanical and Vehicular Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) unveiled groundbreaking research in the journal Nature Communications. Their paper, titled "Large-scale Data-driven Energy Management for Electric Vehicles," marks a significant departure from conventional approaches. Instead of relying on control strategies devised by professional engineers, the research harnesses vast operational data from electric vehicles to create an intelligent energy management system capable of autonomous learning and continuous evolution. This pioneering effort offers a novel pathway for the application of big data in the advancement of electric vehicle control systems.
