On March 28, BYD successfully bid for approximately 1,210 mu of state-owned construction land in Qinhan New City, Xi'an, for a sum of 375 million yuan. This land parcel was previously utilized by Baoneng Automobile's Xi'an facility. This marks BYD's second significant land acquisition in Xi'an this year. In January, the company had already procured an adjacent 1,323 mu of industrial land, bringing the total area acquired to over 2,500 mu at a cost of nearly 800 million yuan.
