On March 26, 2025, NIO and Beijing Future Science City Development Group inked an agreement to fortify their collaboration in the realms of new energy vehicle innovation, service ecology, and the development of battery swap networks. The partnership envisions the construction of 100 battery swap stations, with the inaugural station set to be erected in Changping District, Beijing. Leveraging green energy applications, these stations will serve as hubs for energy replenishment and other related scenarios, aiming to forge an integrated demonstration project that encompasses production, charging, usage, and battery swapping services.
