The Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Finance, has announced the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating Equipment Renewal and Consumer Goods Trade-In in Henan Province by 2025." The ambitious plan outlines that by the end of 2025, Henan Province intends to accomplish the scrapping and replacement of approximately 500,000 vehicles owned by individual consumers. Additionally, the province aims to facilitate the trade-in of over 8 million home appliances, as well as the scrapping and replacement of roughly 4,700 outdated commercial trucks and 18,000 sets of agricultural machinery. Furthermore, the plan envisions the upgrading of 800 new energy city buses and 4,500 power batteries. Beyond that, the initiative is poised to unleash the consumption potential of digital products, electric bicycles, home furnishing items, and other consumer goods, thereby fostering a vibrant market environment.
