On March 19, BYD's Public Relations Department officially addressed recent reports suggesting the company's plans to establish factories in Germany and Mexico, unequivocally stating that these reports are false. In February, BYD achieved notable success in the overseas market, selling 67,025 vehicles, bringing its cumulative sales for the year to 133,361 vehicles. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, BYD's vehicle exports for the entire year of 2024 totaled 433,000 units, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 71.8%, placing BYD at the top of the growth rate rankings among Chinese automotive brands.
