Mercedes-Benz is poised to unveil its groundbreaking new CLA model, constructed on the advanced MMA platform. This innovative vehicle will offer both pure electric and 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain options, catering to a diverse range of driving preferences. The pure electric variant boasts an impressive 800-volt electrical architecture, delivering a maximum power output of 200 kW and a thrilling top speed of 210 km/h. It is powered by a cutting-edge silicon carbide inverter and an efficient 80 kW electric drive unit. In terms of battery configuration, drivers can choose between an 85 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery or a 58 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, both supporting rapid 320 kW fast charging.

Exterior-wise, the CLA stays true to the captivating design of the concept car, while the interior is equipped with a seamless, through-type large screen and the state-of-the-art MB.OS operating system. Further setting new benchmarks, the CLA will be the first Mercedes-Benz model to incorporate city navigation-assisted driving functionality, leveraging the powerful NVIDIA Orin chip and the advanced Momenta intelligent driving solution. Looking ahead, the CLA will be locally produced with an extended length, positioning it to compete fiercely with models such as the Xiaomi SU7 and Tesla Model 3.
