On March 11, Lixiang Auto announced the commencement of nationwide field testing for its subtly camouflaged Lixiang i8 vehicles, effective March 10. According to Lixiang Auto, this initiative aims to finalize the i8's adjustments prior to its launch, focusing on ride quality, wind noise reduction, range optimization, and exterior aesthetics. The Lixiang i8, Lixiang's inaugural pure electric SUV and the pioneering model in the i series, is designated as a medium to large six-seater SUV and is anticipated to hit the market in July 2025.
