The second-generation BYD Seagull has made its official market entry, boasting an official starting price of 65,900 yuan and an enticing trade-in price that begins at just 62,900 yuan. Consumers have the option to choose from five distinct models. This new iteration of the vehicle showcases all-around enhancements in its interior, spatial dimensions, and intelligent features, accompanied by a palette of six exterior color choices.
Compared to its predecessor, the body dimensions and wheelbase of the new model have been expanded, accommodating an upgrade from four to five seats and significantly boosting storage capacity. The exterior design has undergone a complete overhaul, while the interior is adorned predominantly in light hues, complemented by user-friendly elements such as a floating central console screen.
From a performance standpoint, the vehicle has transitioned to rear-wheel drive, with its maximum power output elevated to 95kW. The rear suspension system has been refined to a multi-link independent setup, providing two CLTC range options, with the top-tier model supporting rapid charging.
In terms of intelligent driving capabilities, the premium variant can be optionally fitted with LiDAR technology and the Divine Eyes B advanced driver-assistance system.
