On October 14, Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, took to Weibo to officially announce the launch of Xiaomi Auto’s “Northern Winter Exclusive Care” service. This tailored service is designed to alleviate the common challenges faced by drivers in northern regions during winter. It spans eight provinces and autonomous regions, namely Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, and Ningxia. The program will be operational from October 15, 2026, through March 31, 2027. The service package includes 15 specialized winter vehicle inspections, complimentary snow chain rentals, free labor for winter tire changes, complimentary storage of removed tires, free roadside assistance, and free vehicle delivery for repairs conducted outside the owner’s hometown.
