XPENG Motors has made an official announcement that show cars for the latest addition to the MONA lineup, the L05 model, have started to make their way into offline stores across the country. As of today, the general public is invited to come and experience these vehicles firsthand, with pre-sales set to kick off on October 15. The L05 stands as the third mass-produced model in the MONA series, specifically tailored as the premier large five-seater SUV aimed at the younger demographic, signifying XPENG's foray into the competitive large five-seater mid-size SUV arena. The model has successfully completed its declaration process with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Boasting dimensions of 4870mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1636mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2940mm, the L05 showcases an exceptional cabin space utilization rate of 87%. This design enables the trunk to comfortably fit nine 20-inch suitcases, even when the vehicle is fully occupied by five passengers. The L05 is outfitted with XPENG's state-of-the-art VLA 2.0 intelligent assisted driving system and the Turing AI chip, employing a pure vision-based approach with a peak computing power of 1500TOPS, thereby supporting both urban and highway NOA functionalities. Furthermore, the vehicle features a well-appointed cabin and offers the flexibility to opt for additional installations such as a second-row ceiling-mounted screen and a foldable table.
