On October 10, He Xiaopeng announced that XPENG Group has been selected to serve as the Secretary-General of the newly formed 'Task Force on Exchange of Information Related to Autonomous Driving Scenarios' (TF-ESRI). This task force operates under the vehicle regulations coordination framework of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Working Group on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA). He expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in XPENG, highlighting that this marks a significant milestone as it may be the inaugural instance of a Chinese company taking on such a pivotal role within the core structure of UN autonomous driving regulations. XPENG is committed to incorporating China's hands-on experience in autonomous driving into international regulatory cooperation, thereby fostering the safe and global deployment of autonomous driving technologies.
