Recently, Dongchedi, a well-known automotive media outlet, released a test video highlighting a significant concern: the brake pedal brackets of three Zunjie V800 vehicles broke during emergency braking tests. This revelation has ignited widespread discussions within the automotive industry regarding the material quality and structural integrity of brake pedals.

As the incident gained momentum, executives from several prominent automakers, including Lu Fang, Chairman of VOYAH; Lin Zhibin, Deputy General Manager of GAC Honda; Wan Liangyu, CEO of Mengshi Auto; and Yu Yuefeng, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen, stepped forward to address the issue. They made public statements to introduce the brake pedal designs and strength parameters of their respective products, aiming to reassure consumers and industry observers.

In response to the controversy, Zunjie Auto also issued a statement. The company acknowledged the concerns raised and pledged to optimize the design of the affected components. Furthermore, Zunjie Auto offered free upgrades to customers who had already received their vehicles, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.

Dongchedi, the original source of the test video, clarified its stance by stating that the tests conducted involved normal hard braking scenarios, rather than extreme conditions. This clarification aimed to provide context and ensure that the discussion remained focused on the practical implications of the findings.
