On Monday, the Saudi Arabian startup Ceer, born out of a joint venture between Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund and Foxconn, unveiled its first two all-electric vehicle models. Simultaneously, it announced ambitious plans to introduce five additional models by the year 2030. This strategic initiative is designed to bolster Saudi Arabia's efforts in establishing a sustainable automotive sector and diminishing its heavy dependence on oil revenues. The two inaugural high-end electric vehicle models—comprising a sedan and an SUV—boast a futuristic design aesthetic. Both models are branded under the name 'Exobot' and are slated for a market debut in Saudi Arabia in the early months of 2027.
