On September 21, Zhang Xiong, the President of GAC Aion BU, declared the official commencement of the Ray7 Early Access Program. The first batch of these innovative vehicles is anticipated to arrive at dealerships around the time of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Launched by GAC Aion in July, Ray represents a cutting-edge vehicle series. The Ray7 is specifically designed as a super electric sedan aimed at young consumers, boasting dimensions of 4960×1900×1455mm and a wheelbase of 2920mm.

This vehicle introduces a groundbreaking chip-level drive-control integration architecture on a global scale. It is also the first to incorporate Huawei's EMB full-electric wire control braking system and Huawei's iTRACK intelligent torque control system. The Ray7 features an aluminum-mixed front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension setup, complemented by an FSD variable damping suspension and HRS hydraulic rebound stopper for enhanced driving comfort and control.

In terms of its powertrain, the Ray7 is outfitted with a state-of-the-art Huawei DriveONE multi-in-one electric drive system, paired with a CATL battery pack that utilizes the Magazine Battery 2.0 technology solution. Additionally, it incorporates a new thermal management system and a 28-in-1 thermal management module for optimal performance.

At the forefront of intelligent driving technology, the vehicle is equipped with WeRide's L4-level homologous large model algorithm and 27 automotive-grade full-view sensors. These features enable advanced functions such as navigation-free roaming to automatically locate parking spaces, enhancing the overall driving experience.
