Porsche's Chief Executive Officer, Michael Leiters, disclosed to the staff that the company is not considering any additional layoffs of roughly 4,000 employees, and it will adhere to its current restructuring strategy without modifications. Earlier reports suggested that the Volkswagen Supervisory Board was of the opinion that, beyond the 9,000 job cuts already agreed upon, Porsche might still harbor around 4,100 positions that are potentially superfluous and could be subject to further downsizing.
