He explained that under a staggering 17-ton load, the majority of the vehicle’s body experienced elastic deformation—a reversible structural change. Originally, the team aimed to stack eight cars, but logistical constraints, specifically the height limitations of the indoor testing facility, led them to settle on seven. The primary objective of this test was to rigorously assess the vehicle’s roof strength and load-bearing capabilities. Thanks to its advanced high-strength materials and robust body structure, the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max not only preserved the structural integrity of the passenger compartment but also ensured that all doors could be opened effortlessly, even under the immense pressure of 17 tons, thereby triumphantly completing the challenge.
