In the course of institutional research, BYD disclosed that this year, the company has prioritized electrification and intelligent technology, refined its product lineup, and witnessed a concurrent uptick in sales and market share. This growth is largely ascribed to the introduction of new-generation models within the FlashCharge series. The FlashCharge solution effectively tackles users' charging hurdles and elevates the perceived value of its products. BYD elaborated that FlashCharge constitutes a comprehensive energy replenishment system, leveraging its in-house developed second-generation Blade Battery, FlashCharge stations boasting a maximum power output of 1,500 kW, and integrated energy storage capabilities. This setup enables rapid charging, achieving a 10%-70% charge in just 5 minutes and a 10%-97% charge in 9 minutes. The energy replenishment efficiency nears that of traditional fuel vehicles, underscoring the technological and systemic benefits derived from profound hardware-software integration. Presently, BYD is steadfastly advancing its 'FlashCharge China' initiative, having constructed its 10,000th FlashCharge station, spanning 332 cities and setting three new benchmarks among Chinese automakers. The coverage rate in both first- and second-tier cities, as well as third- and fourth-tier cities, has achieved 100%, with FlashCharge stations accessible within an average distance of 3 kilometers in core urban zones and 4 kilometers in third- and fourth-tier urban regions. Notably, 4,228 of these stations are Dream Fulfillment sites, fulfilling the aspirations of 74,281 users. The company envisions establishing 20,000 FlashCharge stations across the nation by the end of 2026.
