Earlier reports indicated that Tesla's factory audits in September were designed to evaluate the exclusivity and consistency of mass production for the Optimus robot. This includes providing assistance to partner companies in equipment debugging and facilitating the transfer of manufacturing capabilities from U.S.-based factories. At present, Tesla has already placed orders with relevant supply chain enterprises, and this round of factory audits is poised to directly propel the mass production process of the Optimus robot forward. Tesla has ambitious plans to manufacture around 50,000 Optimus robots by 2026, with the intention of deploying them across its global Superfactories. However, it's important to note that the Optimus humanoid robot is not yet available for purchase by the general public.
