The AITO brand has circulated a notice to all authorized dealers, announcing that, effective September 16, the contracting party for the cooperation agreement will transition from Huawei Terminal to SERES Automotive, and the original agreement will be automatically terminated. For orders placed prior to September 16, Huawei will remain responsible for comprehensive service fees, while SERES will assume responsibility for new orders placed after that date. AITO has underscored that its brand positioning, channel authorization, business rules, and store operation standards will remain intact. The rights and interests of all existing users will remain unaffected, with service commitments—such as vehicle warranty and system OTA updates—remaining unchanged. This adjustment is intended to solidify AITO’s position as a premium brand and foster an exclusive brand operation model. SERES will now take the lead in areas such as product definition, design, brand marketing, channel retail, and service systems, while Huawei Terminal will continue to provide technological support. Despite market concerns, both AITO and SERES have affirmed that user rights and subsequent services will not be compromised.
