On September 17, Leapmotor orchestrated a signing ceremony alongside China FAW Group, culminating in the establishment of investment letters of intent and technology cooperation pacts with FAW Qixin Power (Changchun) Technology Co., Ltd. and China Automotive New Energy Battery Technology Co., Ltd., respectively. As per the stipulations of these agreements, Leapmotor and China Automotive New Energy are set to collaboratively propel the research of avant-garde battery technologies and the execution of standardized battery cell implementations. Their joint efforts will encompass R&D endeavors in pioneering domains, including solid-state batteries, lithium-rich manganese-based batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and ultra-fast charging lithium iron phosphate batteries. This collaboration aims to foster the targeted advancement and product utilization of standardized battery cells, while also jointly delving into battery recycling and synergistic opportunities within the overseas industrial chain.
