This April, Shandong Province unveiled a set of implementation plans and supporting measures tailored for electric heavy-duty trucks, thereby establishing a comprehensive policy framework. The province has made concerted efforts to drive forward pivotal projects, encompassing the construction of demonstration stations, provision of financial support, improvement of charging services, and safeguarding of grid infrastructure. Over the past five months, Shandong has successfully finished building the first batch of 88 high-power charging demonstration stations and has developed 27 detailed guidelines for policy implementation. The initial impacts of an integrated charging network and policy framework are now coming to the fore, spurring the rapid and widespread adoption of electric heavy-duty trucks.
