In response, Musk expressed his keenness for a rapid European debut. Industry analysts are of the opinion that Germany holds the potential to be Tesla's gateway to the European market. The Berlin Gigafactory is considered the most plausible location for the initial large-scale production of the Cybercab. Tesla has already submitted an application for a permit to construct a new factory at this site, with plans to implement modular production line technology. Drawing from its approach in the United States, Tesla is anticipated to carry out validation testing and offer internal experiences in Germany before gradually transitioning to commercializing the service. However, the global expansion of the Cybercab is not without its hurdles. Presently, its Robotaxi service is limited to just seven metropolitan regions in the United States. Moreover, the regulatory approval process for autonomous driving in the EU is intricate. Several countries are reluctant to adopt a unified EU-wide certification for Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) system. Additionally, securing regulatory clearance for the Cybercab, which lacks a steering wheel and pedals, will pose a significant challenge. Despite these obstacles, Musk's remarks suggest that Tesla envisions the Cybercab as a global autonomous driving platform. The company is also actively seeking feedback from passengers to refine the product. With the steady enhancement of production capacity at the factories in Texas and Berlin, the internationalization of the Cybercab is expected to gather momentum.
