CAAM Report: July Witnesses Export of 1.092 Million Complete Vehicles, Soaring by 57.5% Year-on-Year

According to data meticulously collated by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) from the General Administration of Customs, in July 2026, China achieved a remarkable feat by exporting 1.092 million complete vehicles. This figure not only reflects a 2.2% increase from the previous month but also soars by a staggering 57.5% compared to the same period last year. In monetary terms, the export value reached an impressive US$18.98 billion, marking a 4.1% month-on-month growth and a substantial 60.4% year-on-year surge.
Furthermore, when examining the cumulative data from January to July 2026, it becomes evident that China has exported a grand total of 6.399 million complete vehicles, showcasing a robust 53.7% increase year-on-year. The cumulative export value over this period has also seen a significant uptick, reaching US$110.78 billion, which is a 54.9% rise compared to the same period in the previous year.
