Since its inception in May 1992, the company has been led by legal representative Huang Yong. Its shareholder base includes prominent entities such as Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., PSA Automobiles SA, Peugeot Automobile Company, and Citroën Automobile Company. Additionally, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. was established on August 17, 2026, with a substantial registered capital of nearly 8.2 billion yuan. This new venture is a collaborative investment involving six parties, including Dongfeng Motor Group and the Stellantis Group. Its operations encompass the research and development of automotive components and the sales of new energy vehicles, signifying Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen’s continued commitment to advancing in the new energy sector.
