FAW Hongqi has officially declared that its latest offering, the Hongqi H7, will take on the formidable task of breaking the Guinness World Record for the 'longest distance covered by a mass-produced plug-in hybrid sedan on a single tank of fuel and a full battery charge, without any supplementary energy intake'. The ambitious journey will traverse three provinces—Yunnan, Guangxi, and Guangdong—under a myriad of challenging environmental and road conditions, all while the vehicle remains in its unaltered, factory-fresh state. The all-new Hongqi H7 commenced its pre-sales phase in August of this year, boasting the cutting-edge Honghu Hybrid system and the Sinan integrated assisted driving technology. It presents various model variants, each distinguished by unique body dimensions, exterior and interior aesthetics, intelligent cockpit features, and assisted driving capabilities, excelling in key performance metrics such as driving range, fuel efficiency, and power output.
