The domestic new energy vehicle (NEV) market is marked by intense competition, with numerous instances of "rushed-to-market vehicles." Some automakers have significantly shortened their research and development (R&D) and testing cycles, leading to inconsistent product quality. In response, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has initiated a targeted rectification campaign, raising the reliability test mileage requirement to 30,000 kilometers and intensifying efforts to identify potential product safety risks.

Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL, has voiced criticism over the industry's pathological overcompetition, highlighting the necessity of refining products and cultivating brand trust. While rushed vehicles may temporarily secure market share, the emergence of batch quality issues will erode the industry's foundation of global trust. Regulatory rectification efforts are thus beneficial for the long-term, healthy development of the industry.
