On August 20, data regarding new vehicle sales in China for the month of July was disclosed by Japan’s top three automakers. Notably, Nissan witnessed a significant plunge, with its sales plummeting by 58.7% year-on-year, amounting to only 23,677 units. Toyota also experienced a decline, with its sales decreasing by 24.3% year-on-year, reaching 114,700 units. Similarly, Honda's sales dropped by 44.1% year-on-year, totaling 25,052 units. When considering the first seven months of this year, Nissan's cumulative sales in China reached 261,100 units, marking a 22% year-on-year decrease. Toyota's cumulative sales stood at 809,400 units, down 18% from the previous year. Honda's cumulative sales amounted to 238,700 units, representing a 36% year-on-year decline.
