Previously, Tesla had also hinted at related possibilities, such as the Tesla Roadster sports car, which was previewed to have flying and hovering capabilities. Musk believes that although flying cars face challenges such as noise, airflow disturbances, and safety risks, these issues will be resolved with technological advancements and improvements in aviation systems. Tesla may leverage SpaceX's propulsion technology through its Roadster project to enable short-term hovering or low-altitude flight, thereby introducing cars with flying capabilities.
