Tesla has just published the latest real-world road test data for its European iteration of Supervised FSD. During the preceding four months, the software has amassed an impressive 52 million kilometers of driving experience across five EU nations, such as the Netherlands and Lithuania. When this data is merged with prior test results from the Netherlands, the cumulative mileage soars to 65 million kilometers. The test findings reveal that its safety performance surpasses that of human driving by a factor of over 5.2, excelling in both highway and non-highway environments, as well as across various safety indicators. Notably, the safety trends align with those witnessed in North America. Developed on the foundation of the FSD v14 branch, this software currently caters exclusively to vehicles outfitted with HW4 hardware in the aforementioned five countries. The adaptation schedule for European HW3 models, however, remains undisclosed. Presently, there are over 1.48 million FSD subscribers globally. Tesla aspires to secure wider backing ahead of the European Commission's vote in October, aiming to streamline the unified approval process for FSD across the EU. Nevertheless, nations like France and Sweden continue to exercise caution. Furthermore, preliminary versions of FSD v15 tailored for the U.S. market are already undergoing testing on Robotaxi vehicles.
