As reported by the Volvo Group, on July 27, a definitive agreement was signed among Volvo Group, Daimler Truck, cellcentric, and Toyota Motor Corporation. According to this agreement, Toyota Motor Corporation will join cellcentric as an equal partner and shareholder, with each of the three entities holding an equal one-third stake in the company. This move builds upon the non-binding cooperation agreement inked at the end of March this year. The transaction is anticipated to be finalized by the end of 2026 or early 2027, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
