On July 27, the Qingxiu District People's Court in Nanning City held a public auction on Alibaba's judicial auction platform for a batch of mechanical equipment sourced from Neta Auto's Nanning production base. Situated at No. 88 Changlong Road, Lingli Town, Qingxiu District, this batch encompassed 467 pieces of vehicle manufacturing equipment, spanning a comprehensive array of automobile manufacturing facilities, including automated stamping production lines and assembly robotic arms. Both the assessed value and starting bid for the auction were established at RMB 60.3079 million. However, the auction results revealed that it concluded as a failed sale due to the absence of any bids. This auction was initiated as part of an enforcement case concerning a sales contract dispute, bearing the case number (2026) Gui 0103 Ex. 178. The party applying for enforcement was Nanning Zhihong Technology Co., Ltd., while the parties subject to enforcement included Nanning Ningda New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Guangxi Ningda Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., and Nanning Yonghe Investment Co., Ltd. The enforcement target for this case was set at RMB 45.6866 million. The Neta Auto Nanning production base represents a strategic cooperation project between Hozon New Energy and the Nanning Municipal Government, with a planned total investment of RMB 3.5 billion and a designed annual production capacity of 100,000 pure electric passenger vehicles. The land and factory buildings were financed and constructed by the Nanning side. Beyond this sales contract dispute, Neta Auto also shoulders substantial lease debts, with companies under Nanning Industrial Investment having applied for the enforcement of claims amounting to nearly RMB 130 million. At present, Hozon New Energy remains in the stage of bankruptcy reorganization, and a new strategic investor has yet to be identified.
